Lady Laura Blog: First day in London

¡Buenos y fríos días a todos!

Como saben, he venido a trabajar pero también a aprender inglés, por lo que para practicar he decidido empezar a traducir el blog en ambos idiomas. También les puede servir de ayuda a los que quieran aprender un poquito de anglosajón. Seguramente tendré fallos, pero los iré corrigiendo.

¡My first day in London! Ha sido un día muy completo, aunque no hemos podido recorrer todos los rincones que habíamos planeado debido a la lluvia que hubo durante la tarde (típica de esta ciudad).

Primero cogimos el metro desde nuestra casa a King's Cross Station, en donde nos paramos a tomar un "hot chocolate" en el conocido Starbucks.
¡Me calentó todo el cuerpo!

Good cold morning everyone!

As you know, I have come to work but also to learn English, so I decided to translate the blog in both languages. It can also be helpful to those who want to learn a little Anglo-Saxon. Probably I will have mistakes, but I will correct them.

My first day in London! It has been a very full day, but we were unable to visit all the places that we had planned because there was rain during the afternoon (typical of this city).

First we took the subway from our home to King's Cross Station, where we stopped to take a "hot chocolate" in the famous Starbucks.

It warm me the whole body!

Seguidamente, cruzamos a la estación de St. Pancras y de ahí cogimos otro metro hasta la estación de London Victoria. Allí nos movimos en "bus" (guagua en canario), hasta el maravilloso parque de Hyde Park, en donde cogimos un par de bicicletas y lo recorrimos por la zona norte.

¡Es precioso!

Then we crossed the St. Pancras station and we took another train to London Victoria Station. There, we moved by "bus" (guagua in canary), to the wonderful park Hyde Park, where we took a couple of bikes and rode along the north.

It's beautiful!

Después de aquí, fuimos a ver el Big Ben y el London Eye, las dos grandes maravillas de esta ciudad que no deja indiferente a nadie.

After this, we went to see the Big Ben and the London Eye, the two great wonders of this city that leaves no one indifferent.

Como ven, usé un look cómodo a la par de abrigado, porque las temperaturas van bajando a medida que cae la tarde. Las botas de agua son muy importantes en esta ciudad, puesto que de buenas a primeras empieza a caer una lluvia tremenda y te coge desprevenido.

As you see, I used comfortable and warm clothes, because temperatures are dropping as when the evening falls. The boots are very important in this city, because of a sudden starts to fall a tremendous rain and catches you off guard.
