Harrods

 Comenzamos con la última semana del año y con las pilas más cargadas que nunca. Esta vez vuelvo a traer una parada obligatoria por excelencia en Londres: Los almacenes Harrods.

Este complejo de cinco plantas está situado en Brompton Road, perteneciente al barrio de Knightsbridge, cuya estación de metro desemboca justamente en la entrada principal del almacén. Su lema no es otro que "Omnia Omnibus Ubique" (todo para todo el mundo en todas partes) y es que Harrods es famoso a nivel mundial.

He de confesar que mi idea al imaginarme estos almacenes en un principio era encontrarlos llenos de bolsos y complementos típicos que le veía a toda aquella persona que había visitado Londres, pero todo lo contrario, esta venta de "souvenirs" con el nombre del almacén sólo se ubica en una parte de la segunda planta. El resto de ellas expone todo tipo de lujos de las firmas más prestigiosas de todo el planeta. Ropa, calzado, complementos, perfumes...

We started with the last week of the year and with the batteries very loaded. This time I return to bring a mandatory stop for excellence in London: Harrods.

This five plants building is located in Brompton Road, belongs to Knightsbridge neighborhood, and it underground station is just near to the main entrance of the store. Their motto is none other than "Omnia Omnibus Ubique" (everything for everyone everywhere) because Harrods is famous worldwide.

I must confess that my idea when I imagined these stores at first was full of typical bags and accessories that you saw everybody who had visited London, but on the contrary, the sale of "souvenirs" with the store name only is located in a part of the second floor. The rest of them, exposes every luxury of the most prestigious firms worldwide. Clothing, shoes, accessories, perfumes...

Es por esto que en el almacén sólo se ve comprando a personas de alta sociedad que pueden permitirse estos lujos, de resto, está lleno de turistas contemplando cada rincón.

Al llegar a la segunda planta encontramos por fin la zona "típica" de este almacén, en donde esta vez sí nos podemos permitir algún capricho, y si es en rebajas como ahora mismo, mejor que mejor.

That is why in store only seen buying high society people who can afford these luxuries. The rest, is full of tourists watching every corner.

Upon reaching the second floor there is the "typical" area of this store, where we can this time allow some whim, and if it is in sales as now, is better.

En esta planta y como es de esperar, hay muchísima más gente que en el resto, me fue difícil sacar fotos sin que alguien se colara sin querer, e incluso llega a ser un poco agobiante. 

Aquí podemos encontrar todo tipo de souvenirs perfectos para llevar de recuerdo o regalar a alguien. Bolsos, neceseres, tazas, peluches, bolígrafos, llaveros...

In this plant, and as it might expect, there are far more people than the rest, it was hard to take pictures without anyone slinks unintentionally, and even become a little cramped.

Here you can find all kinds of perfect souvenirs to take home or give to someone. Bags, toilet bags, mugs, stuffed animals, pens, key chains...

Como punto interesante, decir también que los dueños de estos almacenes fueron durante muchos años la familia egipcia Al-Fayed, cuyo hijo del principal responsable murió junto a Lady Di en un fatídico accidente de coche. Es por esto que en una de las plantas podemos encontrar un homenaje a ambos muy emotivo.

As an interesting point, also say that the owners of these stores were for many years the Egyptian family Al-Fayed, whose son died with Lady Di in a fatal car accident. That is why a plant can find a tribute to both very emotional.

En cuanto a mi look, estrené algunas prendas que me regaló Papá Noel la pasada semana, y opté por ir de negro con una rebeca larga como protagonista. También nombrar las botas cortas con un poco de tacón que se están llevando últimamente, soy muy cómodas y favorecedoras con muchos outfits.

As for my look, I wore some clothes that Santa Claus gift me last week, and I decided to go in black and a cardigan as protagonist. Also says that the short boots with a little heels are now fashionable, it is very comfortable and goods with many outfits.

Llevo, abrigo botas y camisa negra de cuello de New Look y leggins de Zara.

Hasta aquí mi paso por estos grandes almacenes de ensueño.
