Central London

¡Hola, hola! En el post de hoy vuelvo a traerles otro pedacito de Londres. Esta vez,  he recorrido gran parte de la zona 1. Para los que no hayan estado ninguna vez aquí, explicarles que Londres se divide en 6 zonas. La 1 es la más al centro y la 6 la más alejada de toda la ciudad.

Empecé por Leicester Square, una gran plaza que se caracteriza por ser el centro del cine de Londres. En ella se ubican muchísimos cines de entre los que destaca "Odeon cinema" con la pantalla más grande del mundo y mayor número de asientos (más de 1600).

Ahora mismo, la plaza de Leicester cuenta con un pequeño parque navideño, con atracciones y puestos de comida.

Hello, hello! In today's post I return to bring another little place of London. This time, I have been to the area 1. For those who have not been never here, explain that London is divided into 6 zones. The 1 is the center and 6 the farthest from the entire city.

I began by Leicester Square, a large plaza that is known for being the center of the cinema in London. There are many cinemas but the "Odeon cinema" has the biggest screen in the world and the largest number of seats (over 1600) are located.

Right now, Leicester Square has a small Christmas park, with rides and food stalls.

La siguiente parada fue Trafalgar Square, uno de mis lugares favoritos. Esta plaza conmemora la Batalla de Trafalgar, donde la armada británica venció a los franceses y españoles en el año 1805.

En ella podemos encontrar uno de los museos de Londres más importantes la National Gallery, llena de innumerables obras magníficas a nivel mundial y como no, de muchísima gente todos los días y a todas horas. Además, la plaza cuenta con dos magníficas fuentes a derecha e izquierda y en el centro una gran columna con una figura en lo alto simbolizando al almirante Nelson, custodiada por cuatro leones en cada esquina.

Es muy típico sacarse fotos con estos leones, siendo un poco peligroso porque están a una altura considerable e incluso mucha gente intenta subirse a ellos para hacerse fotos, cosa que esta totalmente prohibido por el riesgo que conlleva.

The next stop was Trafalgar Square, one of my favorite places. This square commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar, where the British navy defeated the French and Spanish in 1805.

In it we find one of the most important museums in London, The National Gallery, filled with countless magnificent works worldwide and of course, with many people every day and every time. In addition, the square has two magnificent fountains right and left and in the center a column with a figure on the top symbolizing the Admiral Nelson, guarded by four lions on each corner.

Its very typical to take photos with these lions, being a bit dangerous because they are at a considerable height and even many people try to jump on them to take pictures, which is totally prohibited by the risk involved.

En cuanto a mi look, opté esta vez por llevar mis botas negras hasta la rodilla, las cuales tengo desde hace unos 3 años pero nunca dejan de estar a la moda. 

Las combiné con unos jeans, abrigo negro de tres cuartos y una camisa a rayas con una cadena de pedrería muy favorecedora.

As for my look, I opted this time for wearing my black knee boots, which I have from about 3 years ago but never cease to be fashionable.

I combined it with jeans, black coat three quarters and a striped shirt with a string with bright stones.

Llevo botas y jeans de Zara, abrigo de Suite Blanco, camisa de Primark y gafas Rayban.

La última parada fue en Covent Garden. Es un barrio más de esta ciudad caracterizado sobre todo por su mercado con tiendas, artistas callejeros y otros tipos de entretenimiento. Cada año lo decoran en Navidad de manera peculiar con algún elemento que sobresale y con el que la gente no para de hacerse fotos. Este año le tocó el turno a un trineo de lego y un reno gigante de luces.

The last stop was at Covent Garden. It is a neighborhood of this city characterized mainly by its market with shops, street performers and other entertainment. Every year the Christmas decorate has a peculiar way with some element protruding and the people will not stop to take pictures. This year it was the turn to a "lego" sled and a giant reindeer with lights.

Hasta aquí otro paso más en esta ciudad que nunca se termina de conocer.
